The lineup of Riccardo Luppi’s New Quintet features some of the most compelling young talents from the Milanese jazz scene.

The group presents a repertoire of original compositions by the leader, drawn from various stages of his career.
These pieces have been entirely reimagined for this project, taking on a more contemporary feel.

The acoustic sound of Luppi’s saxophones and flute is complemented by:
Dario Spezia’s electric guitar
Giuseppe La Grutta’s electric bass
and Thomas Umbaca’s keyboards.
The rhythm section is rounded out by Sebastiano Ruggeri on drums and percussion.
